About Michelle

I am Michelle, a Reiki Master and founder of Idyllic Palms, a wellness space offering Reiki treatments and complementary therapeutic services in a calm, tranquil, and restorative environment.

I completed my Reiki Master Practitioner training in the United Kingdom in 2017 under Reiki Master Teacher Anne-Marie Carratu at Reiki Light, following the Usui Shiki Ryoho lineage. My Reiki lineage can be traced back to Mikao Usui, the founder of this natural healing system, now widely known as Reiki.

Alongside Reiki, I hold Diplomas in Life Coaching, Counselling & Psychotherapy, Angel Reiki, Crystal Healing, and Holistic Therapy, all achieved with Distinctions.

​

Complementary and alternative therapies have always been a deep passion of mine. Over the years, I have also studied Herbalism, Massage, Meditation, Chakra Therapy, Bookkeeping, and Payroll, reflecting both my holistic and practical approach to life and wellness.

In 2018, I trained as one of the first groups of certified childbirth doulas in Barbados, an experience that deepened my commitment to supporting others through transformative life stages.

​

In my personal time, I enjoy practising yoga, Tarot, and Oracle readings for family and friends. However, it is Reiki that has remained my most consistent and profound focus.

I believe true wellness comes from maintaining balance within oneself, allowing harmony and peace to extend into every area of life.
